Hyundai Santa Fe: Driving Safety / Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)
Blind-Spot View Monitor displays the rear blind spot area of the vehicle in the
cluster when the turn signal is turned on to help change lanes.

Blind-Spot View
With the engine on, select ‘Driver Assistance → Blind-Spot Safety → Blind- Spot
View’ from the Settings menu to turn on Blind-Spot View Monitor and deselect to
turn off the system.

Warning (DAW) system’ warning message will appear on the cluster...

Parking Safety button
Press the Parking Safety ()
button to turn on Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning. Press the button
again to turn off the system.
When Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning is off (button indicator
light off), if you shift the gear to R (Reverse), the system will automatically
turn on...

If you replace the PCM, you must perform oil pressure characteristics
back up & input (TCU Replacement)...

This warning light illuminates:
When you set the ignition switch or the Engine Start/Stop button to
the ON position.
- The electric power steering warning light illuminates for about 3 seconds
and then goes off.
Whenever there is a malfunction with the electric power steering.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
