Hyundai Santa Fe: Rear Occupant Alert / Description and operation
The system detects the passenger in the vehicle and prevents the driver from
getting off the vehicle with the passenger in the back.

- 1st warning: If you open the driver's door after you open and then close the
rear passenger and turn the engine off, the system provides warning by showing
message on the cluster and giving voice instruction.
- 2nd warning

The system detects the indoor movement using the rear occupant alert
sensor installed on the head lining when the driver gets off the vehicle
and locks all the doors.

If any movement inside the vehicle is detected, horn and Hazard Warning
Flasher are activated for 25 seconds and the mobile text message is
sent.

Description
The 4WD ECU makes a Motor Pump(Actuator) turn round for generating an oil pressure.
And then it presses a multiple disk clutch and transfers the generated torque
into rear wheels. Its torque value varies according to a pressure status...
Be sure to shift the gear to N (Neutral) or P (Park). The engine starts
only when the gear is in N (Neutral) or P (Park).
Turn on the interior light. If the light dims or goes out when you operate
the starter, the battery is drained. See instructions for “Jump Starting” provided
in this chapter...
