Replacement
  
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

Using a screwdriver and remove the forward cover.
3.
Remove the front seat outer shield cover.

Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear hook ①.
(2)
Remove the lower hook ② by pulling it aside
(3)
Remove the upper steel clip ③ and the hook ② by pulling them aside.
(4)
Remove the front seat outer shield cover (A) by pulling it forward as shown by the arrow.
  
Front Seat Outer Shield When removing the cover, pay attention to the removal order and direction.
Be careful not to damage the hooks and brackets.

4.
Separate the front seat power swich connector (A).

5.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
  
Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
