Hyundai Santa Fe: Rear Seat Belt / Rear Seat Belt Retractor. Repair procedures
[Second row seat belt retractor]

When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the retractor.

1. |
Remove the luggage side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Luggage Side Trim")
|
2. |
Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the second row seat belt upper anchor
(A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m , 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

3. |
Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the second row seat belt retractor(A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m , 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
|
• |
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
|

[Third row seat belt retractor]

guide (A).

Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the third row seat belt retractor
(A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m , 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
