Replacement

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Remove the tailgate upper trim. (Refer to Tailgate - "Liftgate Trim")

2.	Remove the rear spoiler plug hole (A). [LH] [RH]

3.	Separate the rear stop lamp connector (A) and rear washer nozzle (B).

Loosen the mounting nuts (A) and remove the rear spoiler (B).

Tightening torque :

2.4 - 3.1 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.7 - 2.3 lb-ft)

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
