Basic Inspection
1. |
Basic inspection is performed as follows.
(1) |
Check indicator after entering self - diagnosis mod.
|
(2) |
Check battery terminals and state of charge.
|
(3) |
Check fuses and relays.
|
(4) |
Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.
|
(5) |
Check the connectors and wiring for damage.
|

Diagnostic With Diagnostic Tool

The body electrical system can be more quickly diagnosed for problems
by using the diagnostic tool (Refer to "DTC guide").
- Diagnosis contents may be different for each vehicle type.

Self diagnosis : Inspection and display failed code (DTC)
|
(2) |
Sensor data : Checks the system input/output values
|
(3) |
Forced operation : Checking the system operation condition
|
(4) |
Additional function : Controlling other features including system
option setting and zero point adjustment
|

Disconnected : Open Load display
|

Self-Diagnosis Mode
You can check whether the heater & air ventilated seats are operating normally
through the self-diagnosis mode.
1. |
Self-diagnosis mode is entered through the operation of the seat heater
switch.
|
2. |
Enter the self-diagnostic mode by referring to the description below.
(2) |
Press and hold the seat heater switch for more than 3 seconds.
|
(3) |
Release the hand and press the switch again within 3 seconds
for 1.5 to 3 seconds.
|
(4) |
Again within 3 seconds, hold the switch for more than 3 seconds
to enter the self-diagnosis mode.

(5) |
When entering the self-diagnostic mode, the switch indicator
blinks once.

Up to 2 fault codes can be output, and when 2 fault
codes are detected, each fault code is sequentially
repeated with a cycle of 2 seconds.

• |
The fault details can be checked through the self-diagnosis
mode in the same way for both the 1st and 2nd row seats.
|
• |
The shape of the heater & air ventilated seat switch
can be applied differently depending on the vehicle
model and options.

Check the details of the fault according to the blinking and lighting
status of the indicator after entering the self-diagnosis mode.
