Hyundai Santa Fe: Seat Electrical / Seat Heater Switch. Repair procedures

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the console upper cover (A).
|
3. |
Press the lock pin, separate the connectors (A).
|
4. |
Remove the seat heater switch (A) and SBW switch assembly after loosening
mounting screws.

Install the front seat heater switch.
|
2. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Other information:
Never move the shift button from P (Park) or N (Neutral) to any other
position with the accelerator pedal depressed.
Never move the shift button into P (Park) when the vehicle is in motion.
Be sure the vehicle is completely stopped before you attempt to shift into R
(Reverse) or D (Drive)...
Before driving your vehicle, check to see that your inside rearview mirror is
properly positioned. Adjust the rearview mirror so that the view through the rear
window is properly centered.
WARNING
Make sure your line of sight is not obstructed. Do not place objects in the
rear seat, cargo area, or behind the rear headrests which could interfere with your
vision through the rear window...

This warning light illuminates:
When you set the ignition switch or the Engine Start/Stop button to
the ON position.
- The electric power steering warning light illuminates for about 3 seconds
and then goes off.
Whenever there is a malfunction with the electric power steering.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
